First: hello to any new people on my flist! I finally decide to figure out who on my flist is a lurker and who I defriended and who doesn't use their journal anymore, and in the process I made some friends. I hope. Anyway. Hi.

Secondly: omgknackered. Spent the morning reading enough to make my eyes hurt and getting to the part in Genesis with Jacob, Rachel and Leah (which is a story I love, incidentally). In the course, I've just been introduced to the symbols I'll be using. The next module are the exercises but tomorrow I'm going to go over the second module again because I want to get the symbols straight. All my reading &c. is going to come late tomorrow because we're taking the boys to the cinema and it's Raksha Bandhan, so my dad's oldest sister is coming from Leicester to tie rakhis on us. What with my cousins being here, we'll get to tie rakhis on the day which is rare.

Today, after the morning of reading and then catering to Baby Cousin (and eating fajitas), The Sister and I took The Cousins to the park. Thing is, living in the dregs means you have to walk a fair bit to get to D and we took the boys even further than that because we went to DSJ so they were knackered before they got to the park. There we messed around on the swings &c. before going up the closest thing we have to a hill in the area (a grassy mound; niiice) where we played with the football. We got a lift to The Rents' store from my uncle (the park is next to his store) and then we walked back home to DG. On the way we played word games - associations and letter games.

This evening we ate and then I played Ludo with The Cousins. Oh boy. Then the youngest one read to me (random book about a teacher who really likes crisps and for some reason has a snake's tongue. Um) and now they're both in bed. PHEW. Tomorrow is going to knock me out, if not them. (russianvelvet, it's probably better if you take the 10 bus to D; crouchingmajor, just to confirm, it's the 11.30 show and we'll meet you there).

To conclude: Sports Night! Yay!
