{ all I want is to be your harbour }
Aug. 7th, 2006 09:32 pmSo, as predicted, this week is going to be long and weary. My cousins are a lot of fun but they are knackering me out like nothing else right now. It's mad.
I did my usual morning of schooling (lecture, reading, bible, reading) whilst The Mother took The Sister & Cousins to B. Later we walked into D, went to Dad's store, had an ice cream, came back, played cards and ball games and other stuff, then ran around the house randomly before watching a movie at 6pm. Then there was fooding and Baby Cousin turned up, and then there was a half hour of the boys reading and practising spelling and the like before they finally went to bed at 9-something. Seriously. It doesn't sound like we did much at all but it was a lot.
The plan for the rest of the week is to have a 'slow' day tomorrow (they have times table sheets and things to do before they go home; seriously, I don't even know), go to the cinema on Wednesday, bowling on Thursday and then swimming and DVDs on Friday. During this mêlée, there will be the usual running, ball games, walk-taking etc. that The Sister and I endured today, as well as the boys watching stuff in wee dawn hours.
After giving up on Lolita a week a go, I'm now reading it again. This has something to do with the libvrary due date being this Friday but I'm not sure why that motivated me because, you know, I'd given up. But yeah, I have about three hundred pages left and I'm speeding to the finish line now. I guess all the morning-time academia is making me want to do stuff. Also, got an email from the year-group co-ordinator woman who said that the information regarding reading lists is slow coming because the university is a bit crap. Well, yes. I knew that already. Anyway, of the six courses I have two lists, three links to course (non-)information and one course without any information. I'm hoping it comes together at the end of August because that will give me a month to jump-start my reading. Which reminds me: loath though I am to do so, I have to sell some of last year's course texts. Sigh. I'll keep all the ones with my annotations but I need the cash and I'm probably never going to use these again so, yes. I'm selling my books. Why do I feel sinful?
To conclude,
snowpenguin545, I'm sendspacing file segments to your gmail address. #8 is in 2 parts, #9 is complete, #10-12 will be in 3 parts. You'll need WinRAR to put the parts together again; #9 only needs unzipping.
