I had loads to say about The Matrix: Revolutions but then I got interrupted ten minutes before the end and my cousins turned up. To summarise: Trinity becomes exceptional in the moment she flies over the clouds of the planet to overtake the mechanicals, the second movie works better because it's not broken up by long fight sequences (and because it's less verbose) and seeing the drill come through to Zion always, always makes me shudder. And that's about it.
This next week is going to be pretty damn interesting. Two of my younger cousins from The Mother's side are staying - two boys, 6 and 11. I have no idea what we're going to do. The older one is a sweetheart, the younger one is a bit of a terror and whilst I think we'll be okay, I'm also very wtf because I'm so used to having girls around.
I watched the 'Boogie Shoes' episode of Sports Night today and tomorrow is the Big Love finale. I just now realised that FilmFour is showing The Motorcycle Diaries tonight and I completely forgot which is irritating. Hopefully they'll repeat it soon (they did some of the others).
Now I'm off to watch the end of Revolutions and hope that it doesn't send me off into a frenzy of movie-related meta.
ETA: Annoyingly, the heat hath returned. Sigh.
ETA 2: Other notes on Revolutions - the animation portion of the fight sequence wasn't obvious (the way it is in that scene with all of the Smiths in Reloaded) and something I didn't notice the first time round - the Smith in the pit turns out to be The Oracle. This is something I still can't get my head around.
