Release the fangirl! I ship anyone and everyone in this fandom but Sheppard/Weir is my rabid OTP. Just warning.

First, to prove that I'm not JUST here for all the random UST that's floating around (seriously, what was with the Teyla/Liz eye-fuckage back in the SGC?): aslfajds;klajf ethical issues wtf?! AND RANDOM KILLING WTF IS GOING ON? I really do not get what these people are thinking. It makes no sense to me, at all. This is what happens when you don't take Daniel with you. (I can't tell who is more scary: the wraith or the Atlantis team. I can't take that kind of conflict with this show. That's why we have Battlestar!) For real, I had a really difficult time dealing with how fucked up the latter end of this episode was. Of course, that was offset by the fangirl in me who was squeeing over the other non-serious stuff.

Now back to the scheduled fangirling.

Dude, that scene when Weir is staring at everyone and can't tell them that basically she loves them all? Totally outweighs everything else that happened in this episode. AND THEN WHEN SHE SHUFFLES AND THE DOCTOR WOOLSEY SHUFFLES TOO! (Oh, Woolsey & Col. Skinner? Woolsey totally missed the part where Skinner loves Weir. Just saying. AAAAAAND! Woolsey totally invoked Colbert's take on truthiness vs. facts wtf. I don't care that much because even before Before I Sleep I had this huge Elizabeth/Atlantis thing going on. Sure, okay, Sheppard has the gene blah, blah - but Elizabeth has always just been in love with the place).

My Carson love is pretty off the chart right now. Mostly because he was there and doing stuff. And then I was scared for him! Especially with the scary triple-K human/wraiths. AND THEN THAT PART WHERE HE WAS THE ACHETYPAL SCAREDY-STOIC-HERO GUY, BEING ALL I DON'T KNOW HELL ABOUT HELL AND THEN BEING TORTURED WTF?! *flails*

Then there was that part when Ronon was overprotective of his girlfriend stun-gunned Michael and he flopped wickedly back onto the bed. I couldn't stop laughing. (Seriously, though; he [Ronon] and Teyla were sat mighty close on that table AND Ronon goes to check on Teyla once the hive ship is out into orbit around that planet).

However, my most favourite line in this entire episode? (Oh come on and guess already!) "I supported Elizabeth's decision!" It's really too awesome how he says Elizabeth. AND SHE HAS HER BIRTHDAY JAR ON HER DESK IN THE SCENE WITH, "JOHN SHEPPARD, ARE YOU DEFENDING MY HONOUR?" *FLAILS* And then Elizabeth does that nose-twitch thing she does ("It's the thought that counts(!)") *MORE FLAILING*

To conclude: Torri's hair is so cute.

In other news, this week's Stargate felt like a mid-season filler. Blah. Oh! Except for Carter's hair.
