So, am beginning to remember why Humbert Humbert scared me off Lolita the first time around but if I'm for anti-heroes, I really have to be for anti-heroes. The plan today is reading and watching (a) Doctor Who, (b) Big Love [before the new episode] and (c) Spooks! AND THAT'S JIMI MISTRY WTF. I saw all of two minutes of the episode and then Baby Cousin turned up so I'm still hiding from spoilers.

And then on Saturday I watched real TV and was again surprised by how little I care for watching television anymore. I'd rather watch in the middle of the night, obviously, or whole seasons at a time. (Oh! That reminds me! [livejournal.com profile] tigertrapped, thank you so much! The DVDs were waiting for me when I got home but I only opened the package this morning. Are you still interested in checking out Firefly? Because I can send those to you. Let me know). Anyway, saw All Access again and was still amazed by Melina Kanakaredes. Am still disappointed by Mac but have rationalised it to him being, well, Mac; Flack's reaction warms my fannish heart. Lindsay's reaction still makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. I like the character but her response was like falling into a wall Wile E Coyote style.

AND THEN I SAW CRIMINAL INTENT AND IT WAS GOOD. Goddammit, CSI but you will never better this franchise. L&O is consistently well-written and performed, not to mention damned smart. Mum and I were watching CI and it was just fabulous.

OK, so, I have about twenty chores just now assigned to me and then I have to do a bit of job searching before hitting fandom full-speed, so to speak. For those of you waiting for email responses from me, I swear I will get to that as soon as is possible. [livejournal.com profile] binglexjells, I will beta your fic in ten minutes, once I've made tea for the gardener.

Glad the DVDs arrived safely. I'd love to see Firefly sometime, thanks!

I'll send those off asap, then. I'm just burning some DVDs for an Australian friend in Canada - Supernatural included. Has the finale aired here yet? I can't get the tv guide to make sense.

Well, if you're lucky enough to get ITV2 (which I'm not), it aired last night, I think. The bloody football has screwed the ITV1 screen-times - they've stopped showing in on Mondays, didn't screen any shows last week, aren't showing it today but, according to Time-Out are showing an episode about vampires on Wednesday. I imagine this must be about 2/3 episodes before the season finale??

Yes, that's right. So I think you have three episodes left. Which adds up. If you want, I'll send the final two episodes of SPN as well?

Ah, you're a sweetie! That would be great because I've no idea when ITV1 will finish screening them, given the World Cup. Would you like a disk which has the final three episodes of season two of House and the final three episodes ever of Alias? Or are you still catching up with both series?

OK, I'll aim to get those out to you by the end of the week.

Re: House and Alias, don't worry about those. I'm going to be watching all of House (mid S1 onwards) and all of Alias S5 this summer.

CI is my favorite of all the L&O series. I love Goren's weirdness and how Eames grounds and understands him. They are perfect together. :loves:

I have so much L&O love in general but yes Goren and Eames are a classic pair. Having been at uni all year, I've missed most of the third season (yes, we're so behind) but coming back and seeing episodes makes the fangirl smile in a ridiculous manner.
