delga: ([SGA] Weir is mischievious too)

I really don't understand how anyone can "hate Weir on principle". In other news, this whole eljay malarkey will be easier once it is Monday and even though I am at home, I so missed Doctor Who because I have apparently developed a distaste for sitting in front of the TV (which...wtf already? When will I make up my mind?!) That being said, I very much will be watching tonight's CSI: NY because omg Stella. And then there is CRIMINAL INTENT and my inner fangirl rejoices at the very notion of it. For real, yo.

For the record: no emails will be replied to properly until Monday because I have restricted net access - my laptop won't connect and my sister won't let me on the computer (she's currently watching NCIS). When I want to reply to ficathon entries I have to have both the laptop and the computer on. Living in the middle of nowhere means I cannot thieve. Which, you know, woe. But also means I have tons more time to read Lolita and it says a lot about how much I've changed since I was fourteen because I now can't stop reading the damn thing.

Hating Weir on principle? Um... What principle would that be exactly? Weirdness.

Pst. I so need a 'ey? wtf?' icons because ohnoze! I have not one!

I know! I mean, I can barely get my head around hating Weir (because unless you're a fangirl, I don't suppose you think she does all that much that could be construed as offensive) but...or maybe it's one of those crazy het versus slash things. Like how the Jack/Daniel fans in SG1 hated the Sam/Jack fans and vice versa, except maybe this time it's the Mckay/Sheppard versus Weir/Sheppard fans? I don't know. I do know that the fandom is chock full of crazies.

Well, it's on my list of must-reads for the summer. And after what I've been writing this year, it only seems appropriate.

You should watch Doctor Who when it's repeated tonight on BBC3, it was a great episode!

Some people are just nuts. I mean, I could understand disliking the presence of a character when he or she "disturbs your OTP" but hating the entire character? Pft.

Hey! Ficathon! I have figured things out. Or at least I have a suggestion. Wait a bit and I'll... put it into a sendable form.

You should know that although I am saddened by the disappearance of the many, many pants, your new collection of icons is much of the awesome .

And yay for ficathon! Having now inserted myself into my own through a somewhat laborious process of closing my eyes and randomly jabbing a finger at the screen, this means I will eventually have two fics to write, huzzah! I am yenning for fic so badly right now, it's practically mad.

Heh. Oh, I miss my many, many pants too, just because of the principle, but I hardly used them. But thanks! It's all new and shiny now. *pets*

Jabbing a finger at the screen sounds like a fantastic technique. But okay, now I'll stop faffing and send the thing already. *rolls eyes at self*
