- 21, I live in the Fen; British Asian; I studied English at university and I talk about that a lot. I'm a vegetarian, though I don't know how knowing that will help you.

- if you know me in real life, please don't talk about this journal with other people. I don't really have shame about my obsessions so much as I'd rather not take shit for the things that make me happy. Yes? Yes.

- friend/de-friend at will. I don't mind. Please comment if you'd like me to add you, too, although you can lurk if you'd rather. I know some people much rather.

- these days I post sporadically so there'll be a twitter update, a my-life-is-boring update, a I-love-NCIS/other-show update and probably pictures and links. I also post a lot of poetry and I don't filter it so that's something you'll just have to deal with.

- sometimes I write in uppercase. Some people find that annoying. I'm not actually shouting, it's just a lazy way of writing emphasis whilst at the same time being an asshole, obviously. I don't mean anything bad by it.

- mostly you're going to need a sense of irony around here. It helps if you don't mind reading about all the books I'm reading for class, or how I'm suddenly head-over-heels obsessed with a new show. I don't do wank of any sort. I have other things to freak out about without the internets causing me strife.

- aw, Thandie Newton! I sort of love her. I will likely picspam her. And fashion photography. (Also: Saffron Burrows.)

- you can email me at: delgaserascaatgmaildotcom.

- I like films, yay! And music, and books, and TV. In short: I like what most people like. I don't like soaps, though, or horror flicks. Or most of the things that came out of the C18th-C19th century. I think post-modernity is FANTASTIC but I also find a lot of it stupid. (I also think we're in that stop gap post-post-modernity, but that's something we'll work out retroactively).

- yeah, I use words like 'retroactive' and 'post-modernity'. I also use the words 'smashing' and 'ace' though. And I can't read emoticons, so.

- I don't like Harry Potter. I don't mind if you do, so long as I don't have to. The same applies to Twilight or whatever the hell that beast is called.

- That there would be the list of every show that I watch or have watched and enjoyed. Yeah. I know. And the list is growing, so. But if you want to know if we have something in common, this list will likely tell you.

- I like lots of films; I have a fondness for trilogies. I love indie films, Westerns, martial arts (wuxia) films, foreign films. I liked screwball comedies, and enjoy romcoms but I don't go out of my way to watch them. I like most of the Hollywood blockbusters, but I prefer the dramas. Mostly I like things if they lack moronicity and are rather INTENSE. Crime thrillers are predictable but loveable.
