Snagged from the delightful [livejournal.com profile] ivinnuna:

List five episodes from any fandom that have stuck with you. Old or new, these are episodes that you'll probably never forget -- list them in order of importance to you. Then, tag three people to pass this along to and find out what shows have stuck with them.

Tags first. I know I don't normally tag but I'm going to this time because this meme is fun. [livejournal.com profile] binglexjells, [livejournal.com profile] wliberation & [livejournal.com profile] spiescameout.

Too Tough To Die [CSI] -- Hands down my favourite episode of CSI ever. The first episode I ever saw, the episode that got me hooked to the show and made me fall in love with Jorja Fox/Sara Sidle. The science is headstrong (Gil explaining scent pads to Nick), the plots are interesting, engaging and well written, the humour dances so lightly and the characterisations are fabulous. And that ending. "What kind of system rewards the perp when the victim's too tough to die?" And of course, who can forget that killer line? "I wish I was like you, Grissom. I wish I didn't feel anything." Obviously she didn't mean it quite like that but the implication hits hard. So much love.

Corruption [L&O] -- One of the first L&O episodes I saw all the way through (notice a pattern yet? First impressions count, dammit) and one that kicked up my love affair with this particular cast combination. Rey and Lennie! Jack and Jamie! Bad cops and that hussy dancer woman flirting with Rey. Not to mention that the guy in the closet later reappeared as Hector in TBJ! I am so in love with this show and how smart it is, and how it runs on quietly doing it's job the way it should be done and I wish I could watch it regularly because it's seriously my favourite show - just to watch let alone fangirl over. It's a brilliant, brilliant show and this episode is fabulous because at the end I just want to hug Lennie so much.

Blink [CSI: NY] -- I have a fetish for pilot episodes but this one is the best. A case that made me stock still for at least fifteen minutes after the credits rolled, wonderful characterisations and a city that stole me away. Wonderful, haunting - lasting.

17 People [TWW] -- GOD TOBY. (Hey, remember when this show could BREAK YOUR BRAIN by how AWESOME it was?)

Wet Foot/Dry Foot [CSI: M] -- it was a toss up between this one and Ashes to Ashes but this one won out because Megan spoke Spanish (Megan!) and the plot was dreadfully sad. This is back when I was still interested in this goddamn show and had two characters to focus on. This is back when I hated Eric less and could ignore H0Caine because there was Tim and Megan and Alexx and the fabulous Wanda de Jesus as the magnificent Sevilla. AND THEN IT ALL WENT TO HELL.

Oh man, I have so many others! Clare de Lune (WaT: first episode I ever saw), Prophecy Girl (BtVS; old school! Buffy dies! There is talk of shopping post-Apocalypse!), Red, White & Blue (Due South and the comedy duo of my life), all of the first season of Numb3rs, Window of Opportunity (SG-1: SAMANDJACKOMG, not to mention Jack on a red bike whatisnottolove?!), The Enemy Walks In (Alias: IRINA KICKS EVERYONE'S ASS). And more more more. But meme rules say five only. SIGH.
