Damn, that storm is kicking up a bloody fuss! Damn internet keeps cutting out and the lights are flickering. I knew we'd get some weather today because it was crazy humid. I guess this means I won't see the E4 episode of Lost today; we won't get reception. Which means I'll have to sit with the family and watch it at 10pm next week. I've already seen this week's terrestrial episode; watched it last week so that I wouldn't have to sit with The Sister. (*natter natter natter* all the bloody way through).

Um, woah. Lightning.

Bloody hell! The storm is damn close. It's shaking the windows. This is fairly cool.

So, where was I? Oh, this week's L&O was brilliant; sports rage. The first straight conviction I've seen this season. I've missed the last two episodes of SVU which is a bitch but oh well. I want Numb3rs to start in the US, heh. Need some new episodes. I really hope the new characters don't ruin the storylines. I could do without that in yet another fandom. I'm looking forward to some of the new shows too - Ghost Whisperer, Invasion and Criminal Minds look interesting, not to mention Geena Davies' new vehicle, Commander in Chief. Not that I need anymore fandoms. They just look good. I want to see Rome but that's proving difficult. *sigh* Oh well. Hopefully we'll get it on terrestrial pretty soon.

As you can tell, I'm just spamming, now. Oh, two plus points: I went to the opticians' today and tomorrow, I have an appointment at the bank. that's two out of three things done! Now I just need to get a photo for my provisional and I can send that off. Yay for lists!

I'm also on a country kick, atm. Heard Trisha Yearwood's Runaway Joe today and then decided that I needed to find all my country tapes/CDs/mp3s again. Yay :) It's odd how I jump between all my RnB stuff and then Country. Not to mention whatever genre it is that they use on all the soundtracks. how do you classify Coldplay and Sia? How about Tori Amos? Rob Thomas? His new vid, btw, is cool. He's just running all over the place but I still like it. OK, I need to go and find something else to do.

Criminal Minds looks awesome, but I don't need more fandoms either.

I can't decide whether I should watch it and be hooked or miss out on the geek-brilliance goodness.
