I meant to reply to this the other day, purely to say thank God we don’t bother with ship names in the Spooks fandom. Think about it:

Aiona (or Afiona, which I quite like)

Atom (ha ha! Quite like that one too)

Etc etc

Oh, and my favourite (though it doesn’t really count as a ship, I think) is someone in the Firefly fandom wrote a fic featuring Inara and Jayne, which ended up as Inayne 
