Hurrah, I have Friday off! I have made plans and then I have to write my femgen entry because Saturday is the deadline. Oh well. I do sort-of have somewhere to go with it now. If I would just write it on my commute things would be easier.

Remember the Boy Cousins? They're on summer break now and will be visiting from Sunday onwards. This time I won't be shepherding (my state of employ, natch) but it's still two extra bodies in the house. Also, J is now 16, so I'm wondering if that's going to change things. I think he's still pretty good natured; last I saw him was April/March so I think that's true. Anyway, The Sister will be looking after them.

I am really tired today. Oh god. My worry about missing the earlier bus is always different. Yesterday I wasn't worried; this morning I am freaking out.

I have a lot of contract work to get done today, which is fine, and we have NEW PRINTERS FUCK YES, but referrals will eat up the morning (last day of doing those; being taken off my hands!) and then other things will come up throughout the day. I know that's the reality of working in an office, and also of being the primary point of contact for a team, but it's still frustrating when you need to get things done. I have ~40 contracts that I need to photocopy, scan, and return, but I just can't free up time long enough to get them done. And I'm taking flexi on Friday. So. Glutton for punishment.
