It's my eljay-versary today, oh yes. I don't actually know how long it's been. 5 years probably. In that time my command of the language has ground to a halt, I have lost my love of pictorial/randomiser memes, & I have taken up an air of general disdain. Good times! Have some fruit punch.

For those that care, I am celebrating by waiting for the connect. Quick, someone throw a firecracker!

In the good news department, I have Friday off, so this week is thankfully shorter. Didn't get far with the deads yesterday so will have to do that today instead. A depressing effort, to say the least. May plug in my mp3 and staple my head to the desk. Have to get this stuff done.

This, by the way, is why I can't have nice things a real job: I can barely do this one and it is not even taxing.

Despite the general tone, I feel okay today. It's not raining, I have Ishiguro to read, and I care not a jot for the rest.
