When The Matrix Reloaded first came out, we all went to see it because such was the thing to do. I only understood half of it mostly because that crazed exposition scene with The Architect was so stupidly verbose. Having watched it again today, this time pausing and rewinding to make sure that I understood the dialogue, I still think this second portion is weak. This is because two-parters start with exposition and exposition can be clunky. I remember prefering the third portion (Matrix Revolution) because the resolution is clever and fairly clean.

Anyway. I get it now. Also: Trinity = Eve, or something close. I like that.
