{ we didn't start the fire }

The house is coming down around me. No, I'm not joking. Because the building work is due to start in October, they've levelled the ground (or started to level the ground) outside teh kicthen and are now turning off the water supply so that they can actually knock the kitchen down. Yeah. And guess who's the only person in the house? Vrai, c'est moi.

I'm actually going to sit in the other room all of today and read S&S because I feel like I should put some effort into it now. My Numb3rs fic needs a final edit before posting (and many thanks to nowastedspace who kindly helped me out on the beta front) and I want to write a drabble for this week's challenge at femslash100. I should also really think of something for icaw (pimp!pimp!) and I want to partcipate in the new Spooks challenge (pimp!spooks_creative!pimp!) so that will probably be another drabble.

After last night's Spooks, I know there's fic to be written. I just have to figure out wtf it is. And woah for A/F anvils. Seriously, develop a sense of subtlety, please. That being said, even though I missed the first ten minutes of 404, I was still all giddy-squee! I just wish I didn't pre-guess plotlines.

Aw, man. They're totally making a hell of a noise in the kicthen. Bugger.

I did actually read more S&S today, so hurrah for me! Then, because we have no kicthen, we went to have lunch in the flat above the store. I spent the rest of the afternoon playing with Baby Cousin who woldn't let go of me when I tried to leave and thus is now running around the house, singing something. What she's singing, we have no clue, because it's all in baby speak and there is no tune. Yay!

Five is finally showing The Eye (SG:A) which will hopefully kick-start the muse for icaw, and I love the episode for its Sparky goodness so I'm going to watch it anyway.

Tomorrow I go to work for what may or may not be the last time. Uh, yeh. Not so clear a schedule on that one. I really need to pack my stuff now that I'm at the final week at home. I also need to read the Yellow Wallpaper but it hasn't come through yet. Oh dear.

Btw, I use thsi icon because I really, really, really want to watch old-school Miami for some reason. Like, The Megan Era old-school. (And the final BSG tonight - nooooo!)
