{ I'm lining up the words like a battalion }

Wow. Well, this post was actually going to start a whole other way but at this point, can I just say I'm a little pissed off at attention grabbing gestures. Grow a fucking backbone and call someone; don't sit in the corner and sulk because chances are, people are going to leave you to it.

Today, actually, was pretty good. The Fairy was in Deeping and we milled around for a couple of hours. The weather was nice. I bought The Fairy a little charm; it's a TEAPOT (ha, in-joke; how cute, no?) I also bought a baguette for lunch but fed half of it to the ducks. Yes, we have a thing about ducks, still. We met one named Bert (short for Beatrix, not, as I initially suspected, Bertina). She was eating rocks and pretending not to know how to fly. Yeh.

Oh, I emailed accommodation and the enrolment management team at Southampton. Accommodation has been having issues with gmail but bottom line, they have a place for me, yay! Enrolment says that I should hear from the Department of Humanities this week which means that by Saturday morning, latest, I'll know when I'm heading down south. I'm going to have to start collecting boxes, methinks, not to mention start making lists. I love lists. They're so practical.

This evening, am going to The Fairy's; we're going to a quiz night. Yay for quizzes! It should be good. I'll be glad to get out of this damn house.

Oh, and sekrit to Denz - I called that guy (the turban man with the orange hands?) and he said that he'll ship the stuff over to Jenna's for me. I'll send you a cheque for payment etc. before that because he wouldn't let me send it straight to him.

I think that's it for today. Oh, I skipped out on last night's L&O because I was too tired - you know, it sucks when you bail on your fave show because the network screws with the scheduling; did anyone catch Patricia Arquette in Medium on BBC1? Was it any good? Should I start investing in multiple VCRs? LOST is on tonight; I want to see that scene with Sayid, Jin, Mercutio and Sawyer again. Hee! Oh, and I liked this week's WaT. I didn't think I would but the story was good, well-paced, well-written and acted. The girl made me sad.
