Went to school, dropped off my books and then sat on a table for two plus hours, talking to people. Much fun was had. Lots of people signed my book, including Mr. K whose message was lovely, as was Mrs. P's. I gave out the wine I bought although Mr. M and Dr. A weren't in. Turns out they're off doing th Oxbridge days today. Sports Day is on Monday but I'm not going. Anyway, left school at 11, went into town, bought a drink whilst Fairy and [livejournal.com profile] crouchingmajor had toasted...things. I can't remember - oh, teacakes. Then bought some sweets (because I needed my sugar fix) and now am home.

Am going to fiddle with a WP and then dammit, I'm going to edit that fic. I am. I am going to be ruthless. I hope. Have written out a plan of sorts for a Numb3rs fic that won't leave me alone but I can assure you, it will never get finished.

My aunt has lent me a Hindi movie called Mein Hoon Na (translated, means, I'm here, though or I'm here, no?) but I think I'll save it for a while. I'll probably watch BSG (just seen 108 - Flesh and Bone. Wow) and then do some reading. Books I got from teh library yesterday:

  • Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen
  • Waterland by Graham Swift
  • The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon
  • By the Light of My Father's Smile by Alice Walker (who also wrote The Colour Purple); and
  • The Poisonwood Bible by Batbara Kingsolver

These should keep me sufficiently amused, yes?

Editing did not happen. I have failed myself.

So saying that, I now want to write a fic that is not fandom based but purposely does not make sense. I want to write a fic that meanders all over dodge and is falsified introspection. I think I could write said fic but I don't think it would be any good. I'm a bit daft.

Oh, person I 'realised' I was angry at? Not actually angry at that person. I was bitter because I was nervous. Said person is actually someone that I am not at all angry at and will never be. Said person and I shall probably never meet each other again. *sad sigh* I feel good that I can honestly say that post was never about a guy that I fancied, however much it reads that way.

(The Dad and The Sister are watching Wimbledon. They are making too much noise. I am displeased).

I think Williams just won. I must eat now.
