My lit. exam is tomorrow (eee!) but I have learnt my list of poets, poems, authors, novels, plays and appropriate quotes so hopefully I should be ok. I also have general studies which I need to get an A in to get an A. You have no idea how crazy that drives me (especially considering I only need Cs/Ds to get As in my other three subjects).

Was just reading [livejournal.com profile] __rainydaystars' journal and realised that I didn't do my weekend fandom update *gaspshockhorror!* CSI is on in half an hour and I'm reading the House recap at TWoP so I'd best not dwindle.

CSI: NY...what happened again? Oh yeh, Mac went spaz at Danny. That last scene was totally redundant. But then again, the two scenes in the episode when Mac talks to Danny about his case? I missed whilst making pasta. Yeh. Danny's case was actually interesting and seeing him rattle Aiden about how she was flirting with that cop was seriously amusing. Stella and Mac's case was about what? Oh, those four guys. The ending was a mix between very odd and surprisingly good. I don't really know what to make of the episode as a whole.

Oh! Has anyone else noticed that the writers have really bummed out recently? The Sister and I keep picking up on bum dialogue. Like last week, Stella was really excited about something and Mac kept putting her down in a way that Mac just... wouldn't? And this week, they were trying to make a big thing out of Stella wanting to make sure that the dead girl's family wouldn't have to spend forever being worried...or something. They totally screwed the dialogue up on that one. Mac was spelling everything out in a CSI for dummies way. What is going on? Where did all the funny go with these two??

And DUDE! I love it when they let Sheldon out of the morgue. I was reading a character profile the other day which basically cites him as a recluse which was interesting. I have much love for Sheldon Hawkes, though. NY icons coming soon.

I loved this week's CI and I can't believe that next week's is the finale. The contrast between those two guys (the voyeur and the exhibitionist) was so brilliantly portrayed - I loved how the exhibitionist kept trying to hit on Eames and she was all get away!!! I know I've said it before but Erbe is a genius. I also had loads of fun with the last scene when the guy is seething about animals. That was very clever. BUT OMIGOD FORESHADOWING!!! That's never happened before! "There are two vials still missing" *dun dun DUUUUN* And you so know what's coming. I can't wait for the finale. I'm actually buzzing.

I taped The Peacekeepers on Saturday - for the second time because I can't find the original recording. I love that movie so much. it's not even all that fantastic (in terms of plot) but I still think its great. Especially in the flashbacks and at the beginning when bomberman is playing the piano. Much love.

The Sister has the best music assignment in the world. They're going to compare songs that have been covered with their originals! Obviosuly, she's ransacked my playlist because I covet covers. (Heh). She's taken both my copies of Losing my religion (R.E.M. & Tori) and Holding out for a hero (Bonnie Tyler, Frou Frou). The Frou Frou version is awesome. She's also taken my copuy of The Corrs' Dreams and I had to d/l the Fleetwood Mac version (but I was like, just take their version of Landslide instead). *happy sigh* I wish our music homeworks had been like that. But no. We had to learn about traditional Chinese music. We couldn't even do new age Chinese music!

OK, off to read my G.S. textbook. If you don't hear from me tomorrow, I failed lit.

Can I just say that having an episode that houses Warrick and Brass exclusively? SO MADE MY NIGHT. Seriously. The Sister and I were discussing how Warrick always gets bummed in the subplot basement of hell and I always liked the rapport he and Brass have so this was really good. And that woman? Love.

Scary black man was actually that guy from Alias who recruits Vaughn to do that thing with the core. The scar? Not makeup; totally his own face. Creepy schmeepy - he's so going to be typecast for the rest of ever.
