Things that happened today that amused me

holliethefairy brought yellow rubber ducks into school so that we can float them on the roof of the dining room. Little Man threw one and it landed - upside down - in the drain. Hee.
crouchingmajor had a muscle shocker thingy. If she changed the mode her finger would freak out. They put it on Mia and she fritzed out. But then she'd beg otehr people to put it on and squeal, lol.- Someone (I think it was
holliethefairy again) brought in those bubbles that you can hold (cos they go weirdly solid). They were blown all the way down the stairs outside the study room and got in everyone's hair. Well, mostly just in Hollie's hair. When they burst they leave behind a sticky residue. The stuff was everywhere. So, so funny. - Little Man hasn't done his statement yet. He's told someone that he has 'two unidentifiable disabilities'. Yeh, idiocy and the y-chromosome. (Seriously, he should just have been born a woman. He's so good at it).
Unfortunately, no one got sticky bubble stuff in Ronnie's hair whcih would have been way funnier because he would have freaked the hell out ("Don't. Touch. The Hair. Dammit!")
( Mini rant about my stuff, boxes and eight legged thingummies )
Tomorrow, The Family arrives for Diwali and New Year. I also have to go to work tomorrow morning. So tonight I will be clearing all my stuff in the study (so people can sleep there tomorrow), vacuuming downstairs and watching TWW. Of course. Oh, also, I'm homework-ing. *sigh* More essays. I've taken too many essay based subjects. And I have a hell-load of coursework to do too. I could really ehlp myself by cutting down on the amount of telly I watch but if you think about it, I watch Spooks, WaT, the occasional Miami repeat (stress 'occasional'), TWW, Dead Zone, Rommie and Stargate. That's not so bad, is it? Especially considering that L&O isn't on and neither are any of the CSIs. Or Alias. Or 24. Or even ER.
Omigod. I watch waaay too much TV.
But I get stuff done too, I swear!
I guess I'd better go and get started then!
TWW, S4: Swiss Diplomacy
Nov. 12th, 2004 09:03 pmAt first I liked it. I enjoyed all of it. It was funny.
Then I started thinking.
[Oh oh].
Is it me or did Martin Sheen totally overact most of his scenes? Then again, his lines weren't all that great. Also, CJ for only two minutes? Sin.
Also, this episode highlighted many of the sexist and pseudo-racist ideals that have previously been expressed by the show. It upset me.
But I still enjoyed it for the most part.
