PROTEST!

Well, this entry was going to be about Lost in Translation but now, after confirmation from the BBC website, it's going to abe a rant.

CBS are stupid. Enormously so. Firing Jorja Fox is the biggest mistake in the world and if Eads has gone too, then the show is screwed. Don't mess with the demographic. Unlike Mothership, CSI is built on its characters and Sara Sidle is immensely popular. This is a mess and I'm furious.

Movie

OK, so regardless of the stupidness that is going on re:CBS, I'm still going to post about Lost in Translation because I absolutely loved that movie! It was so nice to see a film that was focused on the intensity of connection between people. Scarlett and Murray were both brilliant (Murray is a comic genius) but for me Coppola's film is brilliant because the point is the friendship - there isn't anything sexual there. thsi bond is almost tangible, it's so strong. It was absolutely beautiful.

SVU returns this weekend! And CSI repeats which I will now be watching voraciously because -- well, not going there.
