I was ready early today so I grabbed my bag, my purse, went to town and bought more glue. Came back and The Dad took me to the where I spent the next three hours playing secreatry. I need to get a job that isn't in the shop. Really, truly.

Thereafter, went to other shop and played with Baby Cousin whilst talking to Aunt. Walked with Aunt back to big store, stood at the till for anotehr fifteen minutes then slaved home in the heat. The heat will be the death of me.

Then I came home and read something { beautiful }. It's delicate and masterous; tigertrapped is a miracle of an author. Everything about her prose is displayed in this gem of a story. Please read.

I'm going to cut and paste later because I really can't do it now. it's just too hot for that. Might write some more fic; might make more icons. Might actually start to read Waterland.

Oh, I watched L&O yesterday. I have missed it so much! It's been exactly a year since I saw it last. I miss the format, the writing, the characters. I miss the good, solid detective-ness of it all. This week's episode was so good; a heart-breaking case, McCoy battling with his sympathies, Abbie battling back...Nora Lewin is interesting, to say the least. I wonder how she'll play out. Whatever. I'm just glad it's back! And House is on tonight. Woman throws up blood. Niiiiiice.

OK, off to do actual stuff now. It's recommended, I'm told.
