Lots of news - yes, actual blog!

Hey. Just a few items on the agenda that I must systematically deal with if only because they’re worth (in my opinion) noting.

*My head teacher quit/was paid off. Either way, the guy has hightailed it outta here.  What irritates me (and a couple of my friends) is that our ever-so-lovely deputy head is also leaving this year, for… you guessed it, a headship?! It sucks. On a whole new level of suckage, this sucks. It sucks like a huge-mongous vacuum cleaner on at full power working whilst a mega-ass tornado sucked it’s way along Tornado Valley where the vacuum was, well, vacuuming, i.e. it sucks.

*One of my ex-teachers (my one time Biology teacher and Head-of-Year) was recently convicted of child pornography charges. Weirded out by that but also not really sure as to whether or not to trust charges because don’t know a lot about them and because well, we knew him and whilst the guy was irritating, he was also pretty intelligent. Anyways, freaked.

*They’ve changed the maths syllabus!!! Before, at A2, would have to do 2 Pure modules and one applied. Well, hate applied. Hate. H*A*T*E – HATE! Now, retake P1, keep M1 and S1 scores (the latter of which I will inevitably be retaking due to my suckage and my hate, don’t forget the hating. I totally blew that exam and not in a positive frame of meaning either) and just do P2 and P3. How much better?!

*But do I really want to do five A-levels? Do I really want to do an extra year of Kumon? I like Pure; the only reason I was going to drop Maths was because of the applied section. But now I’m stuck. Again. Hate.

*Chosen 6 universities, am lining up for Open Days etc.

§         Nottingham
§         Reading
§         Southampton
§         Newcastle-upon-Tyne

*All courseworks are go! All look very cool too. Pardon me for any later screaming that may happen when 6 months down the line my response to any form of coursework is hate. But I meant it about the applied stuff, really! Hate.

*Saw John Paul on street today. Very cool. JP rocks. :o]

*Went to opticians. Turns out my eyestrain isn’t because my eyes are crappier but because my frames are too tight. Good to know.

OK, will totally have new icons soon. I promise! I just need to…well, make ‘em. Soon, I swear.

Also, work tomorrow (gr argh) as well as The HoCaine-Bitch Files (Miami) and The Mothership. Yays! Rob Lowe’s The Lyon’s Den airs here soon. I heard the series was cut after a season but, shrug, what do I care? I have to watch The HC-B Files just to get my TWW shot (a la Emily Procter) because channel four refuses to show it properly. Goddamnit.

More on that at the appropriate time. Note to self: Call London.
