01. I'm a British-born Indian Asian lady vegetarian who lives in a tiny village in Middle of Nowhereshire, UK. I have one sister, and a bazillion cousins. All these things matter to me.


02. I'm pro-kindness, first and foremost. That means that if I disagree with you, I will probably seethe about it internally, but it will likely not become your business unless I think you've crossed a line.


03. I work a paper-based job that I am okay with, save for the commute, which is horrendous. Nine times out of ten I will be talking about said job and/or commute. My line manager works at a different office to me, but there are four people at her level whom I encounter regularly. I call these people not!bosses, #1-4.


04. I'm an English Honours grad, and I believe in the semi-colon. I read a lot of poetry. I post a lot of poetry.


05. I used to watch a lot of tv, but in the way of adulthood, not so much any more. The only things I watch with any consistency are Spooks, Doctor Who, Merlin, Justified, Weeds, and The United States of Tara - aka, shows that run from 6-12 weeks in total. Once a year I freak out about being behind on Bones, and marathon it by way of Camille Saroyan's wardrobe.


06. I enjoy films, and wish I could go to the cinema more often. I prefer dramas, and/or foreign fare. In the past year I have developed an obsession with the theatre. I also love watching ballet.


07. I am super into Danish films and lesser-known British film actresses.


08. I am not into animals or babies, but I love elephants and giraffes, and my baby cousin. There is also this thing with plastic ducks but that's more of a school joke that has since taken on a life of its own.


09. I write a lot of letters. I mean-- a lot of letters.


10. Like everyone, I enjoy music. Pretty much anything that isn't punk rock, though I am partial to folk/indie folk and 80s pop.

I actually did know all of these things about you. :)

Also, the new migraine meds that the pharmacist rec'd to me remind me of you because it's spelled similar to "Engregages". Lame, I know, but I love it when RL reminds me of people. :)
