{ it's not that I didn't know. }
Dec. 12th, 2009 09:08 amI am aware that if I want to get anything from the most recent Spooks then I'm going to have to watch it clean when it airs on Wednesday, which means I have to just watch it, and not read it. I don't know; it's stupid to be sensitive for this when previous plotlines - though infuriating - have been so easily dismissed. Plus, the guest cast was beautiful.
I would love to make some icons but I no longer have a graphics program. Hmmm.

This week, work was pretty much a wash. That's all I have to say on that.

Was supposed to go to sleep last night and then somehow ended up watching 3/4 of Rachel Getting Married with Rosemarie DeWitt's commentary. Oh god, this film. I know a big deal was made of Debra Winger's performance, bu Bill Irwin's is also so, so strong, not to mention DeWitt and Hathaway themselves. The whole film is this beautiful fusion of colour and music and a deep, deep sadness. The direction is exceptional.

The Sister comes home today, and I need to go to Argos later to pick up The Mother's food processor (Christmas present). It turns out that I forgot to budget for Christmas because I'm a moron, so I need to sort out The Dad's gift, and a couple of friends, and that's all this year. Which I'm annoyed about, but needs must. The Sister has no cash, either, so this is going to be fun.

My faaaaaace. It's so dry and bleugh. I am getting fed up of how much moisturiser I need just to look like I'm live and not secretly a zombie. My NHS pre-pay certificate turned up this week so I need to go and renew my prescription, but I got a letter from the clinic which has pushed back my return appointment to the end of February instead of the beginning. I don't know if I'm going to make it that long.
Speaking of the undead, I heard that someone is making Pride & Prejudice & Zombies into a movie? HEH.

Other things to do today: work on yuletide; watch Christmas!Bones; find my chapstick, apparently.
