My main problem though was that they wrote Dani so well last year and it seems so hampered by the Tidwell story line. It would be okay if I bought Tidwell but I don't. And like you said, Dani's lack of dimensions frustrate me too I don't really know what she's thinking now or what she's going through. If that kiss has anything to do with a downward spiral or something else.
Also, Dani suddenly afraid of Earthquakes and ducking into a non-load bearing doorway does not make sense to me. At all.
I do like the ongoing theme of Charlie finally feeling that he is a cop.
